I just bought new pants. There’s a pretty blue tag on them that says:

I’m afraid I can’t live up to the expectations of my pants.

Things have come to a pretty pass when even our clothing is disappointed in us. No wonder Michelle Bachman’s the nominal GOP front-runner. How can we manage the country when we can’t even manage our own closets?
I kind of know what you mean. I, too, am “unable to live up to the expectations of my pants.” But it’s not from lack of desire, only that as I sit here … I’m not WEARING any!
