About five o&#8217;clock Emily&#8217;s mom took the grandkids home with her and we took Jeremy and Emily out to dinner at a fabulous Japanese restaurant. <span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">I had a wonderful day, got home late; went to bed at 9:00 instead of my usual 7:00PM. <\/font><\/span><\/font><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bp3.blogger.com\/_AQRnZwa-8ck\/R_QV2cvoTlI\/AAAAAAAAAAY\/dB5Ycg6Xo_Y\/s320\/Copy%2Bof%2BGrandpa%2B%26%2BTyler%2Bat%2BDisneyland%2C%2B3-30-08.jpg?resize=298%2C294\" onmouseout=\"undefined\" onmouseover=\"undefined\" style=\"width: 298px; height: 294px\" title=\"undefined\" align=\"right\" height=\"294\" hspace=\"5\" vspace=\"5\" width=\"298\" \/><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">Today I feel like I&#8217;ve been on a week-long bender. <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">I overslept, didn&#8217;t work well, had to fight drowsiness on my drive home, took a two hour nap &#8212; after a one hour struggle to go to sleep &#8212; and still feel like crap.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font>  <font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">Twenty years ago I stayed out very late in honky tonks four nights a week, drank heavily, got two or three hours sleep and was ready to rock and roll the next day.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">Now a day at Disneyland has kicked my butt.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia\" class=\"Apple-style-span\"><font face=\"Arial\">Say what we must about the pleasures of aging gracefully and the wisdom of experience it brings.
