One week ago today it was 115 degrees outside. Now it is 60 and raining hard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love weather extremes.\u00a0 I especially love Fall.\u00a0 A week ago I sweated outside over barbecued ribs.\u00a0 Today I’m making chili on the stove.<\/p>\n

Today is my youngest son’s birthday.\u00a0 He’s a good man.\u00a0 I love him.\u00a0 Wish he’d find his way.<\/p>\n

I went camping over the weekend with my closest friends.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My radio buddies and I made our annual trek to Big Sur. Had chili and beer and a million laughs.\u00a0 It will sustain me for months.\u00a0 I love those guys.<\/p>\n

When I got home I found out I was being fired from my fourth job in ten years. All my former employers praise my performance and my character. Go figure.<\/p>\n

Glad I got the camping trip in first.<\/p>\n

My wife and my kids and their kids adore me. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The dogs get very excited when they see me each morning and evening. They follow me from room to room.<\/p>\n

I need to go stir the chili and head out to one of my last days on this particular job.<\/p>\n
