Do I keep all of this and leave it for my daughter to decide?\u00a0\u00a0Do I call on the gods of technology and ask if there&#8217;s an affordable answer?<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"comp-jdlupetgimgimage\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/cd2718_2be4132958c543f2bb76ccc5cf8110d4~mv2.jpg\/v1\/fill\/w_323%2Ch_240%2Cal_c%2Clg_1%2Cq_80\/cd2718_2be4132958c543f2bb76ccc5cf8110d4~mv2.jpg?w=840&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-type=\"image\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"comp-jdluu4st\" class=\"txtNew\" data-packed=\"false\" data-min-height=\"46\">\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Sticky notes mark my feeble attempt to identify by decade<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"comp-jdltaodn\" class=\"txtNew\" data-packed=\"true\">\n<p class=\"font_8\">I&#8217;ve moved them around for years and don&#8217;t know if anyone else will want them someday. There&#8217;s the option to preserve them digitally, but there are so many of them. My scanner isn\u2019t great and each time I start to scan one, I stop and remember stories. Obviously I&#8217;m not suited for this job, and I know I\u2019m not alone. I\u2019ve met other people whose garages belong half to them and half to the past.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"comp-jdluoxx1\" class=\"wp2\" title=\"\" data-exact-height=\"216\" data-content-padding-horizontal=\"0\" data-content-padding-vertical=\"0\">\n<div id=\"comp-jdluoxx1link\" class=\"wp2link\">\n<div id=\"comp-jdluoxx1img\" class=\"wp2img\" style=\"text-align: center;\" data-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>These came in from the garage and took up residence in my office.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-style=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-style=\"\">During my own broadcast career I&#8217;ve let go of boxes of tapes, lots of shows and commercials, moving some to digital\u00a0formats.
